Be it turkey and stuffing, the annual Thanksgiving Cowboy’s game and Black Friday shopping, or maybe just getting to put up holiday decorations, Thanksgiving holds a special place for many of us Texans.
While the Macy’s Day Parade is probably the most famous Thanksgiving day parade, Fort Worth boasts an impressive compliment to that season’s greeting. The Fort Worth Parade of Lights is a nighttime parade on its 32nd year! With over 200,000 attendees and 100 parade participants, its definitely a Texas sized event!
The parade is on Friday, November 28th, at 6pm and is a free event with a combination of optional paid seating. So, if you get to Friday and can still stand all those special people in your life, consider taking them into one of the metroplex’s neatest holiday events.
