Just thought we’d take a moment to highlight what was one of the neatest event’s we’ve been to in awhile. Earth Day Dallas, or as it is now known, Earth Day Texas, is an annual two day festival in Dallas, at the historic Fair Park.
This is appropriate, as at the other end of the year, the Fair Park hosts the famous State Fair of Texas, so having an event about health and awareness opposite all those corn dogs and fried Twinkies is almost poetic.
Hindsight is 20/20, but we highly encourage everyone to check out next years event, as attendance is free and its neat to see what groups are out there. Be it the adorable planters made by Half-Priced Books (out of earnest to goodness books,) the climbing tree, or just this years newest models of hybrid/full electric cars, there was something for everyone.
